Charles Smith has more than 25 years of experience within managed care finance and operations. As Senior Director of Health Plan Operations, his work includes plan enrollment and membership, medical claims processing and benefits system configuration, appeals and grievances, member services, provider claims services and vendor relations.

His prior roles include more than 10 years as the Director of Third-Party Administrator Operations at the Memorial Hermann Health Plan in Houston. This was followed by four years at the five-star KelseyCare Advantage Plan, first as the Director of Enrollment, Quality and Training and later as the Director of Payment Integrity and Third-Party Recoveries.

Mr. Smith has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Houston, a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from Lamar University and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Binghamton University.
