As Vice President of Finance, Harvey Birch is instrumental in supporting the efforts of Southwestern Health Resources (SWHR) and Care N’ Care (CNC) to be a fiscal leader in value-based care and transforming community health.

An accomplished leader with more than 17 years of finance and accounting experience, Birch was previously the AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Marketplace business at Molina Healthcare, Inc. of Long Beach, California, a Fortune 500 company providing managed healthcare services for Medicaid, Medicare and state insurance marketplaces.

With expertise in healthcare analytics, performance metrics and operations, Birch brings a wealth of talent to complement strategic goals. His experience in healthcare insurance and managed care are invaluable as our organization continues to build alliances designed to transform patient care across North Texas.

Birch started his career in public accounting for a firm that had a focus in the healthcare industry. He saw an opportunity to make an impact not only to how healthcare is provided, but also to people’s lives.

Birch holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas State University – San Marcos.
